Brainstorming Environmental Issues

The exercise below is for exploring the language of environmental issues in the classroom. It is a good way to gauge the level of knowledge about environmental issues. This activity works really well as simultaneously an individual and class activity. While students work independently the teacher can walk around and choose some of the best ideas and write them on the the brainstorming diagram (which they have already drawn) on the board.
