1 Draw a circle on the board

And elicit ways of finishing the sentence in the circle

2 Distribute sentence beginnings for wall maps togroups of 2 or 3 students

ie. By the time….;Up until now…..;As soon as….;When…;
I…………Before that…….;The moment……..;Until………..:I….Later….
During………;
Then students create their own wall maps.

3 Model a short conversation
and let pairs of students walk round, look at the wall maps and make sentences true for themselves.
